RAIN!!! yes, I am shouting. It rained last night! Our area got about =
an inch from about 9PM to about Midnight. My grass (which has no =
watering system) is green again this morning. My plants look happy, and =
now I can skip watering today (my scheduled day). It is supposed to =
clear up again this morning and get sunny. =20

I need to get out there and plant my new rose that I got last weekend. =
Picked my first tomato, pale orange, before the birds get to it. By =
this afternoon all the puddles will be gone and they will be looking for =
moisture again. Looking forward to that first taste. =20

Had a fun couple days that have nothing to do with gardening. My car =
wouldn't start Tuesday afternoon. Got a friend to come over and jump =
start it (interior lights were left on). Made a short trip to store and =
left the engine running while I went inside. (locked it up tight) Came =
home and parked it on the driveway. Then Wed morning it wouldn't start =
again! Called the dealer as it is still under warantee. They couldn't =
get me until afternoon, but I had finals. Got another jump, drove to =
school and parked nose out in the parking structure. Took two finals =
then called security to come jump it again. Drove straight to the =
dealer where they did a complete check of the electrical system and =
replaced the battery. Amazingly, I still got home before my kids did! =
Great place that dealer, they were swamped but took the time for me as =
it was a simple problem. I would have had to rent a car had they not =
been so nice. =20
Gotta go, finals today too.
