Here is one of my favorite resources for fruit trees. Where known, 
they give chilling hours required, self pollinating or if another is 
needed, dwarf, standard, types, and they're in CALIFORNIA, so 
don't discount the South for apple growing. (I know Anna grows 
here in Central TX very well, as do Granny Smith and a number of 
other types. )
