With the exception of some minor painting and touch up our kitchen is remodeled. The tile setter
came back this morning and grouted the ceramic floor tile. The new look is very nice, well, Miz Anne
sez "That's beautiful." After 4 pm today we can walk on it, spit on it, and do anything else to it
as the grout will be completely set by then.

Found out something else too, got a real bargain on the tile at $1.29 a square. The tile setter says
it is a discontinued tile and last year he was installing the same manufacturer and color at $6.95 a
square for the tile plus the install charge. Made me feel good even if he was just bsing, which I
don't think he was.

Late today I will install and hook up the new icemaker for the fridge the old one croaked and it
cost more for the new part than a whole new icemaker cost, go figure. Bought the new icemaker from
an appliance dealer in Dane, Indiana via the web. Heckuva deal, he was $85 cheaper than his nearest
price competitor on the web.

I think we'll go eat Tex Mex in celebration. That's five rooms down and six to go.
