I was out looking at the gardens again this morning. Picked about a pint of blueberries, which
surprised me as I had picked them yesterday afternoon. Miz Anne was with me and counted about 50
cukes from 1 inch long to 4 or 5 inches long. Surprisingly, in light of the big zuke I picked
yesterday, the other zukes are quite small. Oh well, they will grow I reckon. Did discover some
squash vine borers at work on one plant so injected Bt into the area where they area with a vet
syringe I've had for years. Hope that gets them.
The green beans are about 1 to 2 inches long and the whole garden will be fertilized tomorrow right
after dawn with liquid fertilizer.
Your garden sounds really nice Mary Anne.
