Dear Margaret,

Don't worry so much about the typo's. Monsanto as far as I know, is just
another one of those large corporations with diverse business dealings...
99.99999% of which I know nothing about.

Opinions are important because they frequently are based upon personal
experiences. I noticed that people are quick to jump on the USDA, but the
people with the resources, "I suspect," are located with Monsanto. Besides,
when big businesses and big government agencies get together, it makes me
suspecieous (I spelled it that way on purpose!). Monsanto is investing big
bucks in one of my two suppliers of Mycorrhiza and I am more than a little
concerned about where that might head. At this point in time, I am enclined
to think it is for the good, but it wouldn't be the first time a large
investor came in and shut a competitor down. That particular technology is
starting to grow and big business likes to keep on making big bucks.
Motives are not always evident at first. And with a corporation that large,
I have to wonder if the left hand even knows what the right hand is
doing.... a situation we constantly observe in the workings of the US
government.

So, with regard to seeds or any Agricultural dealings, does anyone on this
list have any personal experience with Monsanto or its products?... good or
bad?

Best Regards,
Thomas Giannou
