We have blanched tomato's and then put them into the freezer in plastic freezer bags and that has proven to be an excellent way to store them for future use in soups or any recipe that calls for stewed tomato's. We put two tomato's in a bag and find that works well for our family of three. We have used the cookie sheet method for freezing Raspberries. After they are frozen, they can be put into bags or plastic containers and kept in the freezer. They stay separate from one another that way and make a great snack.
