I'll second that one! Grushovka is a *terrific* performer in Atlanta. *VERY*
early; I've set it out as early as first week in March (our last freeze date
is usually 4/1 to 4/10) and it's set fruit with minimal protection. It also
performs well as the weather starts getting hot. My feeling with many of the
Russian and other so-called "cold resistant" varieties is that they are
resistant to temperature swings more than just able to set fruit at lower
than normal temps.
