Carolyn'e excellent descriptions and the outstanding photography compliment

You're right! The photography is glorious (some of the best "garden porn"
shots I've ever seen) and Dr. Male's descriptions of the varieties she's
chosen are models of clarity.

Another brand new title I just finished is also wonderful....Gary Ibsen's
"The Great Tomato Book". Ibsen is an expert grower (organic), the founder of
the TomatoFest held every year in Carmel, California, and a distinguished
cook. Great photographs, first-rate information about how to grow, good
descriptions of a slew of heirloom/o.p. varieties, lots of interesting
tomato lore. And the recipes are killer.

Kudos to both Male and Ibsen. They do tomatoes proud.
