To add to Chuck's appraisal of the book--I got it three days ago and read it in it's entirety within hours. Then I called Carolyn to praise her efforts and bitch about the fact she didn't include enough of my passionate favorites--black Russian heirlooms. :-) This book is the culmination of years of experience from probably the most knowledgeable person in this hemisphere on heirloom tomatoes. Chuck is right--it will become a standard and "must-have" for tomato growers--from novice to dedicated pro. Just my 2 cents.
