[tomato] Diesel as an herbicide.

For you folks that are following this thread, please understand that
when I reference to using diesel as a herbicide, I treat it just as I
would a systemic herbicide. I wear protective clothing and eye wear, I
target my area so that only the plants that I'm attempting to rid myself
of are the only ones impacted. Generally, I use a paint brush, swab or
dampening cloth in lieu of a sprayer when applying diesel.

As with any type of herbicide, it is very important to be consciencious
as to what you are doing and to take all necessary precautions.

Just wanted to clarify that I'm not some backwoods hick or redneck going
around spraying fuel oil over the countryside. Hick, yes. Redneck,
maybe. Backwoods, definately not! :-)))))

Thanks.
