Pete, All the varieties listed so far are good ones. A couple others to consider for your part of the country might be Black Brandywine (first discovered growing in a tomato field by Linda Sapp in Florida -- the Sapps run Tomato Growers Supply in Florida, an excellent seed source/vendor), Black from Tula, Amber-Colored (Seed Savers Exchange), Black Plum, and Wendy (a very nice yellow from New Zealand).
