1. It will help a mild headache of most non-sinus varieties. Make
tea from a rounded to heaping teaspoon of it. This tea is also
mildly stimulating without being jangly like caffeine, so it's good in
the morning Don't drink more than a couple of cups in a day, though;
it's possible to overdo rosemary and make yourself kind of sick.

2. It makes a pretty good rub for sore muscles; soak (two weeks in a
warm place) or warm at least half a cup of dried herb till the oil is
very fragrant in enough light mineral oil, baby oil or "light" olive oil
to cover plus about a quarter inch. Strain and use.

3. It's a good preservative and germicide; compares so well to BHA and
BHT, for instance, that a tasteless and odorless rosemary extract is now
showing up in some foods as a commercial preservative. Put it in picnic
food on hot days; it's great in potato salad anyway. And a strong
rosemary tea makes a great mouthwash and will keep several days
unrefrigerated.

4. It's the original and (IMHO) very best incense of all time, used for
at least 3000 years, probably much more. Smolder it on incense
charcoal.

5. Put sprigs of it in flower arrangements; it's lovely with roses or
carnations and the combination of scents is interesting.
