My daughter made these ribs the other night. They were from the Texas Beef Council site. I am not wild about regular bbq sauce so I was happy to see these dry-rub ones. My son in law crisped them on the barbeque after baking and they were sensational!! Cayenne wasn't quite enough heat for my tastes but their five year old was eating them too. Prep: 10 minutes Cook: 2½ hours Servings: Serves 6-8 2racks of beef back ribs (7 ribs per rack) 2Tbsp. black pepper 1Tbsp. ground oregano 1Tbsp. paprika 2tsp. celery salt 1/2tsp. ground cayenne pepper Click here to show image Combine all spices. Rub over surface of ribs to coat well. Preheat oven to 300°F. Place ribs on a rack in a roasting pan. Add 1/2-inch of water to bottom of pan. Cover pan with foil and tightly seal edges. Bake at 300°F for 2 hours. Remove ribs from pan and place on grill over medium coals for 15 minutes. Serve with your favorite barbecue sauce on the side. Cut between ribs to serve.
