Spent the afternoon with my Cub Scouts teaching them how to plant seeds and care for them. It was a crack up watching these boys hesitate to dig their bare hands into the wetted seed starting mix. They'll roll around on the ground wrassling, but didn't want to stick their hands into "dirt". Thankfully they got over the "yechs" in short order and we were all up to our elbows in mud. Should have some guys with 'maters this summer, and not a one of them want to eat 'em...I told them they didn't have to eat them to get their badge, they just had to grow them...they'll have a start on their compost piles. A great day in Northern Michigan, cool winds and hot sun. You all have a fine Easter, Me and mine will be dining at Red Lobster, not traditional, but it won't be crowded :-) Cynthia **Womyn Who Moves Mountains-Little Finger Of Michigan** **cmayeaux@traverse.com **USDA zone 4b-Sunset zone 41** ** http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Studios/2659/garden/cynthia.html ** ** http://rdz.stjohns.edu/lists/fiftysomethingwomen/ **
