I have promised my mother that I will never tell, so keep it to yourself: 
she puts sugar in her cornbread. It's the one thing that gives her away as 
not Born in Texas. 

Catharine (who will sneak a bit of sugar into her's from time to 
time...but only if absolutely nobody is looking)
