Well, they're really tart and probably an acquired taste but my wife and I like them and both children are fond of them. My Dad had a big kumquat bush when I was a kid and even when my mid-thirties kids were young. He addicted us to them and we just stand at the tree and eat them. They also make an excellent marmalade.
