Our ladyfriend hasn't tried to climb our trees *nor* decided to sharpen her claws on the tree trunk...to date (touch wood.) Both events would end with prone trees. She does, however, enjoy cat naps under its protective arms. Stretches on the way out sometimes set balls a-swinging, and they make 'interesting' sounds as they brush against pine needles. The end result is a pile of glass shards in some far corner. More than one tree? Nope, not for us. I don't want to test her forbearance any further than I have to.
