BobK, being very old railroad buffs, Jim and I like nothing more
than a real train whistle to get excited about....  But, we have 
lived only 4 miles from Long Island Sound for half a century, 
and the spookiest sound we can experience is the fog horns
which penetrate the night, when the weather is bad.  Maybe it's
because we're also old sailing buffs,  -- and how well we can 
remember geting caught in a blind fog, with buoys and rocks 
all around, and sweating it out . . .
