Hi, there,

Yes, we have been rather quiet, too, with the exigencies of work, and
coping with the flood of Fuyus, mandarins and pomegranates, plus the
occasional stray passion fruit.

I picked 30 persimmon day before yesterday, and between our dear elderly
neighbor across the street and my office mates, we have 2 left of that
number. Some in my office had never seen one before and said, "Gee, they
are pretty; what are they?"

I think we must have had well over 100 to start with.

And our Owari Satsuma mandarin! I rescued 8 from the tip of one branch
resting on a concrete strip. My guess is that the small tree has over
200 fruit.

Does anyone know how to put up mandarin oranges?

And there is the Bearss lime, which I forgot to mention. After the Santa
Anas this past week, I picked up about 30 limes one morning, yearning to
be juiced:)

Well, it's onward and upward, and I wish everyone a delightful weekend
in the garden.

Ron
