Hello, friends,

While much of the U.S. freezes, El Nino holds sway, baking Oz and bringing almost constant rain to the Pacific Northwest, while Southern California vascilates between the 80s and the 60s, dry as the proverbial bone.

Last week, we in Los Angeles were in the middle 80s, and now we are back down into our "normal" 60s, not knowing whether to water or not. A couple of weeks back, it rained like the dickens for several days, and we thought we would be well ahead of the game, rain-wise; but now, it seems like we are again without any signs of moisture. Sigh!

Ron
