If'n you can guarantee its ability to expel armadillo, scalawags, 
carpetbaggers and other undesirables imported by the Northeniers, 
I'll let my hair grow, pile it as high as an elephant's eye, and 
convince my neighbors (female) to do the same.
	On the other hand, cockroaches are all gone from this territory; 
fireants did 'em in. If'n you can  guarantee the Texas Rat will do 
away with fireants, all the menfolk will wear a Texas Rat, too. Even 
the bald ones.
	Maybe that is the trouble down in Texas -- drought, armadillo, 
scalawags, carpetbaggers AND fireants. When the Texas Rat went out of 
style ten or twelve years ago, something essentially Texian left too.
	You may be on to something big here Margaret.    Pat
